Michel van Duijnen

Michel studied history at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and followed the Nationalism Studies programme at the University of Edinburgh. In 2019, he obtained his PhD with a dissertation on the depiction of violence in 17th-century Dutch prints. He went on to work as a researcher at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. For the past two years, he worked as a advisor in the Chief Science Officer's team at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment.
