At the WRR there is a core of employees with a variation of fields of expertise and a flexible 'shell' of experts employed on temporary contracts, often for specific projects.
Empolyees of the WRR are capable to connect (scientific) knowledge. They have feeling for and experience with the worlds of knowledge, policy, politics and society.

The WRR links internship to topics from the WRR working programme. Interns do research themselves or prepare research, under guidance of one or more project members. If there is a match between WRR topic and expertise/interests a combination between internship and writing a final thesis is also possible.
Potential inerns have to be available for a least three months and have to be registered at a university.
