On  8 March 2017 the Permanent Representation of the Kingdom of The Netherlands will organise an informative event about the implications of robotisation for the future of work.

Mastering the robot

In 2015 the WRR published a study titled: Mastering the Robot. The Future of Work in the Second Machine Age (De robot de baas. De toekomst van werk in het tweede machinetijdperk).

This study sets out to answer the question: What do and what can digitisation and robotisation mean for the future of work? One of the most important recommendations of the study is the development of an inclusive robot agenda, which strives to use robotics to make people more productive.

Robert Went, one of the authors of this study, will present the most important findings of this study. His presentation will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with the audience.

When: 8 March 2017 - 16.00 - 17.30 hours, followed by a networking reception

Where: Permanent Representation of the Kingdom of The Netherlands to the EU - Kortenberglaan 4-10, 1040 Brussels
