WRR-Lecture 2020: Kate Crawford on the societal consequences of artificial intelligence

On Thursday 5 March 2020 Kate Crawford will give a lecture on the societal consequences of artificial intelligence in the Hague. Professor Crawford is one of the most renowned experts on this subject and she will discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on public values and the conditions for the responsible use of this emerging technology. In her lecture she will also focus specifically on the Dutch context. Based on her broad expertise on this subject, she will discuss concrete policy recommendations regarding the use of artificial intelligence.

The WRR lecture, in which internationally renowned scientists are invited to present their views on a topical theme in the field of science and policy, is an annual initiative of the Netherlands Scientific Council for Government Policy.
