drs. J.G. (Jan) Buevink MA

Jan can look back on a multifaceted career. Having graduated as a political scientist in Nijmegen, he worked as a journalist for university newspapers in Maastricht and Amsterdam (VU), as a press officer at the Social and Economic Council (SER), and as a corporate journalist at VNO-NCW. After obtaining a teaching qualification, he taught social studies at various secondary schools. He alternated this teaching with work as a communications advisor at asset manager APG and the Rathenau Instituut. Since October 2025, Jan works as a senior communications advisor at the WRR.
