External evaluation of WRR
How is the WRR functioning in the present climate; how does the WRR fulfil its tasks; and what is the policy, academic and social impact of its activities?
These and other important questions are examined once every five years by the WRR external evaluation committee. In 2012, the final year of the present Council term, the evaluation is being carried out by a committee chaired by R.M. (René) Smit, chairman of the Executive Board of VU University Amsterdam.
Committee-members
The members of the evaluation committee are Prof. E.M. (Esther-Mirjam) Sent, Prof. l.J. (Laurens Jan) Brinkhorst and Prof. J.A. (Jan Anthonie) Bruijn. The committee is supported by Marijke Rem (committee secretary) and Bouchra El-Qoraychy (secretary).
The findings of the Smit evaluation committee will be published in early 2013.
