Today the Netherlands Scientific Council for Government policy presented it's latest publication Making Migration Work (In betere banen) in Brussels.
Effective labour migration policy
In Making Migration Work (In betere banen) several renowned researchers have analysed current European labour migration flows and the challenges these pose for employment and mobility in a globalising economy. The authors argue for a more considered and effective labour migration policy for the long term.
Reflection
Co-author Monique Kremer (WRR- staffmember) presented the new book Making Migration Work. Followed by Elizabeth Collett, Director of the Migration Policy Institute Europe (MPI), who gave a response in her lecture 'A Policy for labourmigration in the context of human capital developement'.
The event was held at the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Brussels.
